Jazzy at
Cum Taste the Honey,
The Gass

I've been DJing for more years than most of you can remember, starting off in the late 70's doing Friday and Saturday nights in pubs and wine bars of East London.

My first break into the Underground Garage Scene in '89', when I joined Dance FM back in the days, where I did regular shows along with other DJ's such as Lynden C, DJ EZ, Dem2 and Mr. C. When Dance FM finished after a year out of the scene a friend convinced me to join Rhythm FM, at this stage, I was on the verge of giving up.

Jazzy with DJ EZ

It was hard for up and coming House and Garage DJ's to establish themselves. I gave it a shot for a while on Rhythm FM, as they were one of the first Garage Stations out at the time. After a short while I left them and joined a brand new station called Freek FM. I was given a Sunday slot between 4 and 6pm. I was there for 6 years before leaving Freek and joining Shine FM 87.9.

Over the years I have enjoyed playing with some of the big promotions such as Freekin' You, Sun City, Twice As Nice and Pure Silk, these promotions gave me the opportunity of playing out in Ayia Napa. I feel that I have played some of the best sets of my life out there. I was mentioned in some of the holiday brochures as being one of London's leading House and Garage DJ's for Club Pazza in 1999.

Lyrikal Respect

At this present moment I have been getting involved in producing tracks such as Lyrikal Respect with MC Secret Agent, I have also done tracks with Volup2ous singing Unbelievable and The Finest produced on E Ten Records. I have also produced a new track called I'm Dancing, I'm Dancing where I have linked up with singer Indiano and MC Outlaw Candy.

Don't forget to tune into Shine FM 87.9 on Sundays 4 - 6pm and Tuesdays 10am till 2pm where you can catch me
Jazzy D doing my thing.
